1988 E350 7.6L wont start
Hey folks,
I just bought a 1988 Ford Van Passenger Bus. It has a 7.6L V8 (460CI) that wont start. New fuel pumps are sending fuel to the injectors. Plenty of fuel pressure. Fuel does not seem to be going through the injectors. New coil has been installed as well as new plugs (the old ones were severely fouled). If you spray starter fluid or gas into the system, it will run till that is burnt off. Any ideas from the good people here would be most appreciated.

Is your Ford computer controlled? I'm guessing that it is, and the power lead is not hooked up to your computer. Your computer signals the injectors when to operate. I actually had the same thing happen on a Nissan that I owned. Look for a lead that isn't connected. Most likely on the positive battery cable in the vicinity of the battery. Hope that works for you.
