It's a common thing...
as you get "used" to a vehicle you start going harder on it... even when u don't realize that you are !!!

ANd then maybe they've alread started to use winter fuel in your neck of the woods, that usually kills about 2 mpg....

About this time of year gas stations start using winter blend fuels. There is a definite loss of fuel mileage.

Yeah, I did notice at the station that they had a winter blend sign and all the diesel lately has been green like radiator fluid. As for the smoke, is that pretty normal?

My 04 6oh CC 4x4 had a spell of acting weird and smoking on startup. I am attributing it to bad fuel. I have been getting fuel at my local Albertsons for .09-.10 less than most places but I do not think they do enough volume to keep good fresh Diesel in thier tanks. Looks like I will be paying the extra $$ for the fresher Diesel.

I'm still having a smoking problem since day one....I can start it up, let it idle and no smoke....as soon as i drive it a mile or so, when i stop at a light it smokes heavily..Sometimes whitish/blue to blue..then it disappears....It's in the dealership now..I dropped it off yesterday..sick of the smell in the cab also and the poor fuel mileage after the last re-flash....1/2 tank of fuel @100 miles...I told them to keep it as long as you need to and if you can't fix it then i don't want it...
