Vibration and towing

We have "the" vibration that people are talking about. SuperCab, o4, 5.4L with Michelin tires. Has anybody who has "the" vibration, noticed that it becomes increasingly worse when towing? When riding as a passenger, I was noticing that you can feel the vibration not only throught the seat but also through the your feet resting on the floor.

YES!!!!!! I have extreme vibration when towing only. I went to Pa from VA with a car trailer and noticed the vibration badly between 50-55, and the same again on the return trip with the car on the trailer. Above or below those speeds was fine or when no trailer is attached. But when weight is applied it is horrendous. It shook the steering wheel and floorboards very badly. I have the goodyears. I am in the military in England now for the next 2 years with no way to resolve the problem

If this is a transmission issue as many are stating this would make sense that it might increase under load.

I'm going to load my snowmobiles on the trailer this weekend and drive around a bit....see what happens...
