Spare tire carrier parts

Spare tire carrier parts
Does anyone know where I can get the bolt and wheel retainer that holds the spare tire to the carrier channel on a 1994 F150? When I bought the truck, there was no spare tire but the carrier channel or bar or whatever you want to call it was there. I've got a spare tire now that I want to mount in the stock location but I don't have the bolt and wheel retainer to hold the spare to the channel. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have a 94' F250 that is also missing the spare tire carrier. None of the trucks in the junkyards seems to have them, or are missing most of the parts. Does anyone know from what years they will fit, and what are the odds that my 265/75R16 tires will fit....I think the stock size was 235/85R16. They are wider, not taller really.

I made up a mount to put the spare in the bed standing up along the side. Does not take up much room and is a lot easier to get at as well as it stays clean. When I took the spare out from under the truck it was full of dirt and of course was very rusty. I have all the original hardware but am using the large nut which held the spare to the channel under the truck to hold the spare against the bed of the truck.

The problem I have with that is my tonneau cover which does not allow for the tire to sit upright. Dimensionally it should still fit under the rear gas tank, so I was hoping that the stock carrier could be modified for the wider tire perhaps if it does not fit as is.
I'm in NC where rust is not much of an issue, but it will get dirty for certain. It beats having my friend take it out of my truck when he borrowed it and forgetting to put it back in the bed.

Here's an idea... why not leech the parts off a similar year Bronco, which often has a tailgate-mounted tire carrier. Then you have your spare out from underneath, and still retain full use of your bed for home depot runs, and can fit a tonneau cover.
I actually have all the parts to do this... I just haven't gotten to it yet. Even have a tire cover

The Bronco tire carrier is a great idea. I have all the parts off of a 91 Bronc. make sure you get the beef up plate from inside the fender. I also welded up a desert racing style slanted in bed carrier that fits a 35" tire under a toneau cover. I have that attached with quick release pins so I can pull it out if I need the bed.

All the parts for the underbed spare tire carrier is still available and still manufactured by Ford for your year truck. Call your Ford house.
I bought a new carrier channel for the spare from Ford--it was made in August 2004. And I have a 1992 F150.
It is surprising--but Ford is still making body parts for these trucks--my new OEM Ford grill was made in March 2004.
