hmm, maybe Titan owners need to go to class on how to drive a truck. j/k. It is funny. Question though. Do you need to keep a Titan under 50 in 4x4?

I do not remember reading anything about keeping it under 50...I think you may have to keep it under 60 though. I'm not sure there would be a reason to drive over that speed in four wheel drive anyway..hehe.

I can't believe a truck will spin that easily on a wet road and still be called a truck. They must be made of paper instead of metal. That thread is hilarious. My 91 Mustang breaks traction too easily on wet roads from a stop like they're saying. There's just no weight there. One time I couldn't make it up a gravel hill from a stop in that thing. I need 4x4 for the Mustang! The 79 Bronc, it will go through 6" of snow (That's a lot for around here) up hills and everything in 2wd with bald 31" tires. My advice to them is to put about 1000lbs of tools in their truck to weigh them down and have the tools with them when they break down. :=D

I dont think weight is the issue, these trucks actually make great power and FREEWHELIN, keeping tools with them because there going to break down is a rediculous statment.

No it isn't, having tools with you when you need them can save your life. Not because your truck is junk, but because hey, stuff happens. I take all of my tools with me, and thank the Lord I haven't had to use them too much.

PLEASE OH PLEASE no more talk about titans!!!

Nothing good ever comes out of this kind of thread.....we are polar opposites (Ford -v- titan owners) and will never, ever, have a decent dialog. Just wind up using bandwidth and getting tempers flared!

Just my .02

"don't turn at all in 4X4"? what the heck? Maybe he's confused that his ultra fast Titan is a dragster and can only go in a straight line

"With over 400 foot pounds torque dyno proven I spin when I'm not even trying on dry pavement". I think that statement speaks for itself.

With less than 300 foot pounds torque, my Grand Marquis' tires spin even on dry pavement.

I think this is another case of a luxury car driver thinking he's getting a great big truck that rides like a car, and doesn't have a clue how to drive it. Sounds like they do need driving lessons for pickup trucks.
