When i idle at a stop light i loose all my oil pressure. As soon as i get going my oil pressure comes back and my tempature pegged. After about 30 seconds the tempature cools back down to normal. It only looses pressure when i am below 10 mph and slowing down for a stop light. I dont know if it is the oil pump or maybe the oil is just bad. I just changed the oil about a month ago. I am hoping it isnt the oil pump because of the work needed to be done for it. Tomorrow i am changing the oil and filter again. Hopefully the filter just collapsed. Thanks in advance for any help.
