i went to pep boys tonight and they didn't have them. there wasn't even a listing in their computer for the part number. i was a little bumbed, so i picked up some silverstars for the fogs to console me. what a difference.

carnivore, sent you an e-mail.

thanks.

replied to your email. Good luck man. It took 2 weeks for me to get them but that was the week they came out. You should be able to get them quicker. Took me about 30 minutes to install the headlights. They were not as easy as the fog lights. Had to remove the headlight bolts to get to the back. Its in the truck manual and was not hard, just took a few minutes. Also, make sure when you remove the old bulbs you take out the old rubber gasket (its red). Mine stayed in there and when I put the new bulbs in I couldn't figure out why they were too hard to go in. Turned out to be that there were two rubber gaskets (one from the old bulb and one from the new).

saw these at walmart the other night. i knew they had to be cheaper than silverstars, xtravisions were less than 20 a pair and silverstars were 34. i do do head and fogs for about 60 bucks.

That is what I have and I can see for miles. Well not really, but it does make a difference.

i think most of the people know these arent hid lights, if they wanted some they probably would get the cool blues; which i had before gives a nice white light not really blue at all. if i can find some cool blues that fit i will get those and then the silverstar for fogs

Do you guys really feel like the light output on the F150 is not adequate or even incredible as it is?

I thought my 03 Expy had great lights until I drove behind my new F150 with the fogs on!

For once I feel like I don't have to spend money to upgrade my lights!

the stock lights are ok but i wouldn't go as far as incredible. the lights on my wifes liberty are much better than mine. i will have to say that the silverstars in the fogs made a vast improvement over stock. they shine farther and wider and that helps alot when you have to drive alot of curvy country roads with no street lights and lots of deer. they were well worth the $40.

Which?

You think that stock or the new ones suck?

Would any new ones have a problem with burning to hot and melting all the plastic stuff up there?

stock ones suck, not sure about the melting i usually go up 10-15 watts no problems and on my bmw i went from 55 to 100 watt bulbs and they are fine.
