Looking for a truck

Thought maybe you guys could help me out. Over the last week or so, I've missed out on: '89 F150 4X4, 351 with a leaky rear main; '88 F150 4X4, 300 with a four speed; '84 F150 4X4 four speed, etc, etc....

All of these were under $1000.

Anyone know of anything "locally". (within 60 miles or so..)?

thanks,
Stan

Thanks rmalottwtes30. I found myself a truck about two weeks ago. Any part of the body not rusted on yours?

I'm still looking for one. If anyone sees a decent full size with a 4 or 5spd no granny gear and 4wd let me know. I think my car is going to blow up soon, and I don't really putting more money into it. I'd like a 300 motor but at this point I would be cool with a 302 or 351. I checked on out the other day but it seems like he wants a bit too much for it. 2k for a 88 F150 with some mods but need work just to be drivable.

I have a 2 wheel drive 78 w/300 auto. It runs decent, would be good for a beater. I could sell it for 200 bucks. Also have a 93 F150 Supercab 302 auto that needs a new front seal in the tranny. I could sell it for 2000, let me know.

Really there is only one reason I need a truck and that is so I can take it off road or through a field when I need too. So for me 2wd is not really an option. And after the car I have now I don't think I'm ever going to buy anouther automatic, they just always seem to get on my bad side.

Thanks for the offer though, but I'm just too picky about my vehicles now that I will be out of school soon.

I also have a 78 F150 4x4 300 4spd w/a steel flatbed. Im thinking about selling it. Not the best looking truck in the world, but I love the ole girl. I'd ask 2000 obo for it.
