Anybody from Western Illinois...........

.........or do you all live in the Chicago area. I see y'all have meetings over there in the Windy City. Too far away for me @ $2.00 a gallon. I've kids to feed and trucks to keep on the road, not to mention a nasty and expensive Ham Radio habbit. LOL

Maybe some folks in the rest of the state can post and we'll see where ya' all are.

BTW, this is not a gripe......just sayin' HOWDY! and checkin' for neighbors.

Hello!! Did you go through the first Thread titled "Read First: Where are you?"?
We're going to be having meetings in different areas so more members can attend, read through the various posts and you'll get an idea what we're thinking.

Chapter Meetings

Welcome to the site and Illinois Chapter.

David is on the ball.....his suggestion is great advice.

Many questions can be answered in the present threads.

In early 2005, I'd like to set up a meeting in Gilman (exit283 on I - 57) another in Oregon (on route #64) and in the far northern suburbs as well.

Our goal is to make meetings accessable to all who express an interest so everyone's voice is heard.

Currently, with the majority of members/Officers in the Chicagoland area, the meetings have reflected that.

We are the Illinois Chapter and all must be given the chance to be a part.

Fastronald - Illinois Chapter Leader.
