I'm sure that i am asking questions that are already out there...but without the search function...i'm having a hard time locating the answers.

I just replaced the water pump on my 223...and the pump that came off has a longer and wider shaft than the new one. No genetics jokes here (about wider and longer)!!! the old shaft is 3/4" wide and the new one is ~5/8". the old pulley is about 2 3/4" deep and the one i need is appearently ~1 3/4". Anybody know what i had or have currently...or know where to find the smaller pulley and fan blade? any suggestions??

it almost sounds like the pump you took of is from a car.im not sure on that but something to check.

 

Found out that i have 262 cu in instead of a 223. It all makes sense now. Thanks for the reply.
