I average about 11.5 to 12 and thats calculating by hand not the computer. Moving almost 8k lbs ain't easy or cheap. I've unfortunately become used to bad mileage. Just about everything I've owned has been in the 12mpg range or less. I had a 91 suburban on 35" BF's with a 350 engine and it only got 12mpg on a good day.
I have a 2003 V10 and average about 10mpg in city and about 14-15 on the highway. I live in the mountains, so the mileage should be better on flat ground.
If I keep it around 65 on the hwy, it's about 13mpg, going 80 it's 11mpg, in the city about 11 mpg. Towing a 5K boat in the heat with a/c on I get 8-9mpg going 75. This is for a '00 with K&N, Flowmaster with fixed crossover and 3.73 rear end. I admit I am also have a heavy foot.
