I have an 01 lightning with a 4lb pulley,chiped and other mods. When i purchased the lightning i replaced my charger with a bran new factory one. Because it was making noise (only while in gear at idle ). If you give it any gas at all the noise goes away. Now two months later my new charger is doing the same thing. Is this normal? Does this sound like what yours is doing?
probly cavitation, mine did it with a 2lb pulley and then i went to a 6lb and i can hear it inside the cab now. Its normal everyone who runs a bigger pully will get it
