Ignition switch

I;m not sure if the truck is like my mustang but the ign. switch should have a little hole in it if you put the key in the switch and turn it to the on postion then put a paper clip in the hole and turn the key back the whole key assembly will pull out then you can oil it with a light oil such as oil for a fishing reel or sewing machine I hope this helps

what year is this truck? Is the switch in the column or the dash? The above description is correct for a column switch. Dash switch should unscrew from the back and after you unplug it, it slides out towards the seat. I'm not real sure without knowing the year.
