MSD Dizzy, moisture issue update.

Well, it's crazy humid in central Texas once again. And I just went to the car-wash. I fully anticipated that I would have issues with the moisture. Especially now, with the vented cap.

But much to my surprise, little or no issues with the ignition so far. It seems odd that having holes in the cap would help with a moisture issue, but I guess letting it escape ir more likely than keeping it from getting in there.

Anyway, if you guys have trouble with moisture build-up. Just order a vented cap or drill some holes in yours!

back to my track prep....lug wrench, 12 pack, rocket fuel, duct tape..check

I've seen a little video clip where some guy had a Civic or something. He revved it up real good, launched like grandma, went about 10 ft, it died, then a chute kinda fell off the back...very funny.

The only problem I've had with mine, is that the center electrode, in the distributor cap fell out. Got a new cap, and it's good to go. I live up here in rain country (Seattle) and haven't had any problems with moisture. Go figure.
