Just purchased my new truck and want to hookup my Ipod but not with an FM Modulator. Everyone tells me it can't be done yet because of thein dash 6-CD changer. Help!!

 

i have the same radio and just tried to hook up my dell dj to it. there are no cd changer controls on the radio, so you cannot use a PIE adapter.

the fm modulator did the trick for me though.

 

but the FM modulator leaves so a lot to be desired sound quality-wise.

 

its a hell of a lot better than a fm transmitter though.

i don't see any other option for you, unless you replace the radio.

 

thinking of replacing the radio if something doesn't come on the market in a short time.

 

I had a radio lined up to go into my exploder. everything fit, but i lost the sub and steering wheel controls. heck with that. i like the look of the cd6 in the dash anyway.

(i am sure that there are harnesses made for the sub and steering wheel controls, but i didn't feel like hunting for them!)
