I am hearing this high pitch howling sound coming fom the rear of my 1999 ford 250 4x4 scab. This truck has high k.s but the rear end was repaced in 2001. What if one was to keep driving with the howling sound? Is the sound just annoying or will the differential eventually breakdown?

 

Don'y worry its going to happen to you. Everyone is having the problem. I t/w a friend of mine yesterday with a 04 EXP and he is hearing the samething. I need to check my tail lights. I also heard about the rotors. Does anyone else hear the squeak at braking??

 

Is anyone having steering problems with their 04's?
