Code alarm Was good.

Ford aftermarket alarms and starters at one time were Code Alarm,
Even thu it said ford right on it.
Today?
Audiovox took over code alarm about 2 years ago.
I think they call it New code alarm, now

Both places have been making starters for over 15 years
the merge may be a good thing or not?

Too much info and i still can't tell ya.

ps.most all starter companies have came a long way in the last 5 years
I use Crimestopper Myself.

I used to be an installer for 5 years.... and just from personal experience, I like DEI. Which makes Viper... Just my 2 cents...

DesignTech

Anybody using the DesignTech remote starters? Saw a great deal on a 2way model at Costco.... Looked tempting....Cold weather is coming...

How difficult is putting a remote start in the 2004?

Do any brands still allow you to use the keypad with the alarm?

Thanks

I've had Compustar in two of my trucks and really liked them.
