If you live near a fairly large city, I've always had good luck with http://www.craigslist.org Seems to get a lot of action here in the Seattle/Portland area.

Try www.fordbarn.com good site, www.antiquepower.com, www.bonusbuilt.com . These are all free sites to post ads. What do you have to sell? I'm doing a 50 F-1 and still need a few pieces, especially a front bumper.

They specialize in the 48-52 F-Series Fords. Unfortunately some of the aftermarket vendors only make souped up parts for these trucks and some original or repro parts, just aren't available or being made. I prefer my 51 F-3 Stock. Even then brake system parts to convert it just do not exist. I'll settle for good or NOS brake drums. Sadly, too many have hacked these trucks up and Chevyized them.

Hseries, funny you should mention that, the P.O. had a SBC in it, with an adapter to the Ford tranny.
Barry, the truck is about 75% complete, but I don't have bumpers...I bought it mainly for the bedsides to use on my '42...mine were just to beat to work with.
Thanks all for the links, gonna stick'em in the favorites folder and start posting
