FRONT add-a-leaf???

i went to les schwabs today to see if they had a front add-a-leaf for my 1975 F250 they said the oldest model they have in an Add-a-leaf was for a 1980 with a 3 inch wide leaf, my leafs are also 3 inches wide. Would that 1980 front add-a-leaf fit in my 75. has anyone done this. thanks for the help

I found the easiest thing is to take the spring assembly to a spring company. Ask them to add a leaf and respring to stock height or you can like I did have them rearc the springs to what ever height you need. Doesn't cost but around $50.00 a spring and they typically rebush and coat them.
