He yall, The front springs on my 97 crew cab S\B are in a sad state of sagging, there is only about one inch or less between the stops. I seem to remember reading a post about changing the front springs to new one's of a different code number to get a little more than stock hight back, is this so or was I dreeming. I wood like to get a couple moor inches of hight back about 2.5 inches over now would be perfect. I've considered an add-a-leaf but Im afraid of it being to stiff. Anney help would be great. By the way I now have a Tymar and the 4" Diamond eye exhaust system, love the sound But havent noticed much differenc in the performance. But I think my mpg pulling my 5th wheel to the mountains is better.
Production date 8-97
Front GAVW 4600 \ #2086KG
Rear GAVW 6084 \ #2759KG spring numbers I think.
