barry grant carb

Any one used a Barry Grant on your rig with success? Considering one for my 400.

yes I have run both the mighty demon, and race demon (825, and 750 respectably), and both worked real well basically a Holley with alot better quality control, and updated technology in the manufactoring personally Holleys are 40 year old technology, that has suffered in the last 20 for lack of caring or maybe because the are made in third world contries by child labor that has no incentive, knowledge, or ability to even care, but the BG carbs are what a holley should be, just my .02 cents worth

I have seen excellent results with BG carbs on several different engines, including the 400.

They are very tunable (using common Holley parts). The ones I've seen maintained very consistent A/F mixture throughout a wide operating range.
