1955 Ford F100 4x4?

I have a 1955 Ford F100 that I would like to convert to a solid front axle. I bought a 460 and zf 5 speed and 1356 transfer-case that i would like to install in the truck. Yes, it will be four wheel drive but i want to retain the stock look and not lift it. Is the front of the frame high enough to clear a solid axle while keeping some up-travel?

If you put a solid 4x4 axle up front using the original springs you will raise the truck 3" because the I beam bends up. If you can fab spring mounts on the outside on the frame you may be able to keep the stock height.
