rebelflag,
I just posted a thread about this awhile back, and the answer is YES! The things you have to keep into consideration are the mileage, and PATS. the mileage can be programmed to whatever you have, and the PATS, or passive anti-theft system(?) can be cleared so that you have no issues with a starter kill upon installation.
Check on eBay, i found a few people who sell them offereing any mileage you want and the PATS being cleared/reset.
I may do this myself sometime, or just add an aftermarket 52mm tach into a 52mm gauge pod that replaces the factory steering wheel column assembly thing.
