Hey,
My name is Herman and im in SAC and im new to both the FORD TRUCK family and the FTE family.... i just recently purchased a 1977 F150 Ranger 4x4 step-side. It was purchased as a "rebuild" but it runs descent and doesnt have smog setup. I need to do some repairs and was wondering if i could ask some of yall some questions and possible inlist some of ya'll services (volunteer preferably).
But glad to be a part of the site and hope to hear from yall and possible meet with yall sometime soon.

Welcome Herman

I'm sure you'll find all sorts of help and advice on the various forums here As for coming over and lending a hand...I would if I knew what I was doing I'm rebuilding my `65 F100 custom cab, but have to learn as I go. So going is slow....very slow But at least it's not at a stand still

Is it carburated or fuel injected?
Is the fuel pump manual or electric?

If the fuel pump doesn't fix it, get a rebuild kit for your carb. I helped a friend of mine do a rebuild on a edelbrock 1405 (650cfm) for his `65 stang a few months back. Wasn't hard, just make sure you don't drop anything down into the carb
