Oil Coolers and Cooling

So, I was looking under the old hood today and found a cooler for some type of liquid. I have a 2004 5.4 XLT SCREW and the cooler is in front of the radiator and its probably about 6 inches tall and is silver. Is this the power steering or evern tranny cooler? Anybody think about electric fans yet?

That is your trans oil cooler, the large one behind that is your air conditioning condensor, then your radiator.

I found another one

I was under my truck changing my oil and i found a small cooler under the front bumper. it was silver also. Has any tried to place a filter in line with the tranny cooler?
