hi there people, i registered on this site over a year ago and lost my internet right after i posted my question, got my connection back and am eager to talk shop with other ford owners, i wrote last year asking about my 1978 ford f-250 4x4 snow commander , was it really a plow and what info do yall have about it,how do i get history on it and so forth. it has a 351m w full time 4wheel, i also have a 76 2wheel f150 powered by a 460 w/ a 780 holley vac sec. its a spunky one. i want to change out to a manual 5 speed, is there a cheap way or do ia hafta get the $2000 richmond from jegs( which i really dig alot) ok big enough message hope to hear back soon,...

p.s. im interested in getting into this chapter and need info... my buddie has a 78 f250 xcab w/ a460 750double pumper would get into this also. thanx from SwOkcOffRoader

its definitly a "money"wagon with that carb, the holley was built for
a dirt track car if that says anything..anyways.. does anyone know
what kind of cheap 5 speed manual i can hook up to my 76 , it has a
460 and a c-6 auto...and what year would be best to find the clutch
pedal..etc?
