2004 FX4 Supercrew. Bought Dec 03. 8500 Miles. Only time it was in the shop is to replace the passenger mirror my daughter cracked apart backing out of Sonic. ($220! She's never, ever, ever, EVER, going to drive my truck again). No problems at all. Super happy with it.

Well I am happy now that I hear some good things being said about this great truck instead of all the things that are wrong with it. I was starting to worry that I may have made a mistake when I purchased mine (even if i did make a mistake, I still wouldn't buy any chevy, dodge, or toyota)

Jreeder: There are about 20 owners where I live and they do not have one problem. Maybe they sold the good ones in California....Now its time for me to modify with a lift.

The Clutch packs and tires were balanced at the 5K oil change.
Didn't have the shudder, but mentioned it to the service dept. and they installed the new clutch packs anyway.
14K now,and climbing, no problems ....

Ok. I kept seeing NEW trucks (under 10,000 miles) so I thought I'd leave a post. I have an '89 BII with 208,000 miles on it. The only complaints is that aftermarket parts DO NOT hold up as long as original parts, it's only a 2-door, and I have a dent above the passenger side rear wheel (operator stupidity). My first Ford and I plan to own many more.

I knew I didn't have any problems. Check out the shimmy/vibration forumns, they will flat out call you a liar if your truck does not have there problems (some of them). You guys/gals are a fresh breath of air. Thanks...
