RoadForce Test

RoadForce Test
What exactly is this? I have a vib prob only at 70 mph and ask the dealer to check it out. Also have a braking vib problem and they are turning the roators again....
They told me 3 of 4 tires did not pass the test. They said they were fixed. Can this be fixed or is new tires the only way to fix it?
Thanks,
Daryl

dshupp - I'm like you I'd like to know just what is "road force balancing"?? I know in my area no shops do this type of balancing.. Hell, my Ford dealer never even heard of it..Also relative to turning the rotors, this has been mentioned before in the threads.. I don't under stand it, my independent garage that turns brakes looked it up for me the other day and showed me that F-150 (04) rotors are not turnable.. It was listed in the book as non-serviceable.. If this is correct, why are fORD DEALERS TURNING THEM???

I brought mine in for warped brake rotors and the dealer has replaced the front rotors. They said Ford has updated rotors out for my truck. (04 SCREW XLT 5.4L) I would ask about this before having your rotors turned.
I had my tires road force balanced by the dealer. It fixed my steering wheel shimmy. It says "road force balance" tires on the service ticket.
