Had to take my 02 Escape back to the dealer. It was making throttling noises since they fixed the transmission leak (take out transmission/engine etc - see previous post).
I could put up with the noise but when the car stalled on me twice I knew it was time for visit no 3. Got the car back last night, Noise is still aparrent although lower than before so I hope it's not my imagination because it feels like it is still there. The dealer claimed to have replaced the "Centre Muffler Clamp" and "Road Tested Vehicle All Okay".
Anyone know of a good resource where I can look up these elusive part ie. engine diagrams for the Escape. That would really help. Also could the throttling sound (kind of like when you have a small hole in your muffler) can come from any other place or component?
