The Road Rally was GREAT!

Just wanted to let y'all know we had an awesome time @ the road rally! The organizer was really nice & the other teams were fun too!
I met vansoutriding - WHAT A GORGEOUS TRUCK SHE HAS!!!!!!!!! I hope I get to see more of it & vansoutriding @ some future events! She's awesome & a lot of fun - a TRUE Ford truck lover!
I wish more of you could have attended. There's a rally in November - let me try to find out more & I'll post details. This is a nite rally w/a Halloween theme & less expensive so maybe more can attend!

This was really great fun!! Saw plenty of great fall NY southerntier colors. I was surprised at how well Ed and I did at figuring out each of the sections (except the last one). We placed in about the middle of the pack, even with blowing the last check point. We both laughed like crazy people everytime I would hop on it and go from a stop to 50mph in short order. The 6.0 has some serious bottom end "ash" (especially with my left foot on the brake and bring up the rpms first). My owers manual said I needed to vary my speed for the first 500 miles, it didn't say how quick. My PopUp GN and Line-X bedliner go in tomorrow and then my new truck will get it's REAL job~"Horse Hauler". Great meeting Cowlady, too! Very nice person. Cowlady said my truck needs a name, but first , I must decide if its female or male. Ed has been calling it "General".. so "General Ma'm" it will be.

Ahh .. too bad I couldn't make it. The one in November sounds awesome .. be sure to post details soon. Now all I need is to find a temporary solution to give my truck a demonic set of teeth. XD

Soeey - we did miss the Nov rally but it wasn't as big as the other 1 so hopefully we didn't miss a lot!?! They have 2-3 rallies each year so I plan on trying again next year but with a different navigator!!!!!!!! Don't EVEN ask! LOL!
