The cornhusker's were dealt there worst defeat since the 40's. The final score was TEXAS TECH 70 to CORNHUSKERS 10.????????????

Thats a good question. It looks like they were unpprepared and disorganized on the playing field. Usually Nebraska is the one scoring seventy pts not the other team. I posted a thread about the game on the texas forum. It looks like we are a far cry from the teams in the mid 90s. Our defense was the biggest dissapointment. This game was humiliating. The stadium wasnt even full.

 

We tied our score from what we did to TCU. 21 pts in the first half and 49 in the second. After awhile its not even funny anymore.
But it was a pumped up game from the stands. Go TTU.

nebraska had their time to shine, its time for some other teams...

 

The coach for nebraska was using a west coast system last night, but it just seemed
like a west coast hustle was not correct in west texas. I kind of felt sorry for those folk's after it was 45 to 10. But the funniest thing I heard was when one of the tbs
announcers say's (let's hurry back to the game before texas tech scores again) we all lost it.

I heard that too. My friend and I went back to his apartment at the end of the 3rd quarter. Wanted to beat the traffic and we had already won and it was getting colder. We both laughed when we heard that. Heard some otehr funny stuff on other stations.

Nebraska players were recruited for running the ball and the system is now a passing attack. Give it about 2 years to get some west coast offense players and Nebraska will be good. Being a big UT fan it was quite frustrating watching the OU game. No quarterback production for UT at all.

I do believe that one qualifies as a "Woodshed whupping" as Uncle Jed would say.

 

"west coast" offense = lame and boring. Few if any college teams I know have any success with it.

Ever since Coach Leach got here, the team has improved year after year. Each year we get a few points added to our season average points scored. I'm glad he stayed here becasue hes a hell of a coach and our player like him. But he doesnt throw chairs like Knight.
