cat back for 03 F250

It the spring I wan't to get a stainless cat back exhaust for my 03 F250 SD 5.4. I am mainly interested in a louder more agressive sound. I would like to sound as close to a mustang as possible.
I am think so far of a Gibson Cat back, or Banks cat back. What do they sound like compared to stock? ANy other makes of exhaust?

Gibson or Banks(Borla too) will be just a bit louder than stock. I'd look into the Dynomax magnum or Magnaflow if you want loud.

Thanks for the info, I would be angry to spend $$$ on an exhaust and not like it. Most of the companies do not offer en exhaust specifically for the 5.4. How different is the V10 exhaust? Would it fit with some alterations? Also, they also don't seem to make an exhaust for regular cab long bed applications. Could I buy an exhaust for a CC long bed and cut it?

ALso, what about the flowmaster cat back with the 70 series muffler?

I want an agressive sound. It is easy to find the loud systems for 1/2 tons, but not my f250 SD.

As far as I know, which could be alot or a little depending on who you're asking , the V8 and V10 share the same 3" stock exhaust. Also from the muffler back it is all the same between cat-backs. The difference is the pipe length from the cat to the muffler. So anything from a truck longer than yours should fit, you'll just have to cut the pipe shorter. The easiest and cheapest route for you would be to swap the stock muffler for a stainless aftermarket one. I beleive the stock pipe is a lowgrade aluminized stainless.

The V10 has an odd firing order and the exhaust has an indy car like roar not a deep V8 rumble most are used to. See if you can find a shop that will let you try different mufflers. Some will.
