Over the last couple of days I have been putting my long block together. It is going from a stock 302 to a wild 347 stroker. I'm putting in a roller cam with the roller lifters. Do you have to break in a roller cam the same way as a stock non-roller cam.

As an afterthought, I wouldn't mind hearing some estimates on horse power, if any cares to guess. Here's the setup:

Balanced 347 with World Roush 200 heads 2.02 int/1.6exh, flat top pistons
Lunati roller cam 290/300 .540/.560 lift, roller lifters, roller rockers
MSD ignition, coil, 6A box
Holley 670 street avenger
Edelbrock PRPM dual plane
Dynomax headers, dual exhaust, 40 series flowmasters

No, you don't have to break in the roller cam. Is this going in a truck or car?

 

It was going to go into my 66 Falcon but I figured it may be a little too much for the old car. I have a 68 F100 that seems like a prime canidate for the motor. Thanks
