No, I wasn't born there. I lived there when I was 15-16 years old. I have a good friend there who I met at that time, and we still keep in contact even though we haven't seen each other for many years.

how did you get a ford over there? the 352 wasn't a good engine! but if you take care of it, it can be! the same with any engine and tranny or vehicle! sorry man! i had better luck with the 360, same FE block as the 352
just different heads and valve train. and bigger cylinders and slightly longer stoke.
i just like to say welcome to the forum. just have fun here and you'll be fine! if there is something you need help with just ask! and we have alot of fun here! and we talk about everything on this forum.

In the first place I was looking for a classic Chevy, Belair or 210 but it was hard to find any good car how wasent so expensive. This Ford was just imported to Sweden and I find it at "Blocket.se" its like ebay. I must say that I have no knowledge about Ford trucks at all and now I feel a little worried, maybe I should bye a nother truck instead?

naw,
you should be fine man. sorry i didn't mean to put that equipment down.
like i said that was along time ago! any fords are a good choice. i myself own a ford ranger of the 96 vintage, its been a good little truck! i keep up on the maintance on it and my other cars that i own. that aren't fords.
only because i'm a mechanic for a living! and have driven stock car and have built race cars. so don't be discouraged on what i said! if you have a good running truck keep it. and keep it running good and take care of it.
and you should have many years of driving pleasure!
and if you new guys have any problems or a questions feel free to ask i'm sure someone on this forum does have an answer for ya's! gaurranteed! and you should be proud to own a ford!
on a lighter note, welcome to the forum. to you and grumpy. just 1 question? who's you chapter leader? or do you have 1? just curious.

Hi,

everything is fine here at the end of the earth

You're right, the Ford cars are a little bit different here except the Focus

click

The Mustang was only available in the 70th/80th here in Germany and the Explorer until 2001.

hi mike,adrian,
what makes the focus so different? mike i know your emissions laws are different than ours. thats why i asked. our economy is going down tubes! thats another reason why i asked. i could've reworded what i said earlier. what i mean was how's things in your neck of the woods. or on your side of the pond. i never meant that you lived on the end of the earth.

No problem, Jack
You're right we have different emission laws and higher gas prices.
Smaller roads and smaller cars

I have now a bigger problem.
The OASIS reports shows 96116 DIST(Miles) in May 2006.
The Dealer here in Germany sold my the Explorer with only 65.000mls last Saturday

mike,
i know you do. i spent 2 1/2 years over there. when i was in the army.
i think someone lied to you about the mileage! thats a 31,000 mile difference. yes thats a big problem. specially from a dealer! thats a no no over here. there are laws that protect you from that. i bought a 1990 dodge shadow from my ex-bosses mom. the car is really nice. the odometer shows 186,208 miles. since i've owned the car the odometer hasn't moved. the speedometer works but the odometer don't. again it hasn't moved. and i knew that when i bought it. i guessing that little car has over 200,000 miles on it.
i guess what my point is. maybe someone changed the speedometer head with one with lower mileage. and maybe it stopped working at one point! and who ever repaired it used salvage parts. which is legal here, but i don't what the laws are over there. or they took 2 vehicles and made 1 to sell. who knows! sorry man! but it does happen!
