Hi My name is Peter, i live in Sydney Australia.
My friend & I run an Australian V8 forum www.v8owners.com.au (mods please delete the link if i have broken a rule)
I drive and drag race Aussie GM's (Holdens) Last week we bought a 74 F350 with a Cleveland 351 in it to transport our forum project car.
Here are some shots of the F350 with my daily driver on the back.
And a shot of our project car.
I joined this forum today because i am a newbie to all things Ford. I am hoping to learn about our F truck from all the info on this forum.
Hi all, Martin here. Live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Always wanted an 'EFFIE' since I was a kid and now that I have one I can't get the damn thing to run right ! LOL. Anyway, Just to say hello.
Driving an F150 '89 with a 92 (?) 302W roller cam, 5 spd manual. Am about to spend serious money on it as it's a work vehicle.
Cheers

Hi everybody. Another member from Sweden. I live outside Borensberg which is close to Linkoping. My truck is a ´66 Ford F-100 which I bought on my recent trip to the US. Happy to see there are more people from Sweden on this board. Maybe I see you at Power Meet upcoming summer. / Hans
Hej Hans, and welcome to the group! I just looked at your gallery, that's a clean old truck you have. That body style is often referred to as a "slick".
How much did you have to pay for shipping to Sweden?
Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
i wish i was in sweden now! always go there, have a friend that lives in stockholm and another that lives in gavle, but from hudiksvall, wonderful place.

Well, shipping from California to Sweden was about $1500. A little more expensive for being a truck. Then we have tax and some other things to being around another $1500. So I guess its not too bad.
If anyone of you guys decide to come over, send me a note and I can show you around. We have several big car meetings here of which Power Meet (early july) and Classic Car Week (week 31) are the best. There could be around 6-7000 cars at each meet, which are only older American cars and some old europeans too. / Hans
gday to all the people international!!!! im stonie from adelaide in oz, in full rebuild mode of my 71 f100 im a spraypainter running my own crash shop and custom paint, the effie was only meant to be a work car until it got stripped down and sandblasted for a full rebuild LOL thats what happened to the last car aswell and its still in the process 18 months later.

Thanks TigerDan,
Was thinking to go with the chopped & dropped look with the '52. See what happens. I'm in sunny Afghanistan at the moment. Bought the '52 sight unseen (photos looked alright). Hope its not a basket case.
Should be back in Aus on 13th July.
Between re-doing my house, brewing beer & the F1 it should keep me busy for a while.
Pair of '50's sounds nice.
Cheers, Diffo
