Flow Through Console Storage Bin

Greetings,

For those of you with the flow through console, is there supposed to be some sort of organizer that comes from the factory inside the storage compartment? Aside from the coin holder built into the side, mine is just a large open space. After collecting some junk in there, I find myself constantly fishing around blind for the pen or whatever I need while I'm driving. If Ford doesn't supply an organizer, are you aware of any aftermarket product designed specifcally for this space? Thanks.

In the trucks I test drove there was not any type of organizer in there. Hold tight for some answers from others though. I remember seeing someone had purchased a plastic organizer from like Home Depot and put it in. I think it was Gordo's Blk Beauty.

Nothing comes with it from the factory. Others have purchased various storage boxes ... like I did. I got a screw (no pun intended) organizer case from Home Depot for under $3. It fits great ... could even stack two of them and still have space in there on top. The fuzzy pic of mine (hard to hold the camera next to the ceiling to get the pic) is in my gallery ... and linked below (to make it easy for you). You might also try Wal-Mart, Target, and The Container Store.

A family of four could live in that thing! I, too have too much rattling around in there.

What are the "holders" for molded into the underside of the lid? Maps? Kleenex? CD's?

It's a nice big space, but it needs some sort of organizer.

Some have put a CD case there, others have put other things there. The 'official' use is for a travel size tissue box (found at major stores). The two clips are for pens. One could put a tire guage there, too.
