Hey

Hey...new truck owner here

Just bought a '70 F100 Custom last Saturday. Paid $1,000 at the Salvation Army auto auction. 85k miles, minimal surface rust, 360, 3-speed, overall really good condition! New fuel pump, battery, and alternator. Runs really good! Need some cheap (preferably polished) rims and tires. Getting a dual exhaust hopefully tomorrow. Eventually going to drop it a few inches and convert to front disc brakes. Getting it painted either white or baby blue later on (best friend has a baby blue '74 F100 Custom with a longrod 240).

I'm in Jenks, just north on the high school. Hope to meet some of y'all sometime!

Evan

Thanks......anyone know of a good place for exhaust? I've always gone to Leon's in Sapulpa. They want $150 for a couple short pipes and glasspacks

Welcome! I'm up in Owasso and I know that B&M does a good job, I just don't know how proud of it they are...

Sounds like you got yourself a pretty sweet deal. Hope to see some pictures of it in your gallery sometime.

Later,
Tim

Pics are horrible (from my phone). Just got an exhaust from Leon's went with 2.25" duals. Sounds great, but they ran the glasspacks out further than I wanted. Paid $140. Lots of popping when deccellerating...

Actually, those pics are quite remarkable being that they came from your phone. Although, I am going to have these pictures moved either to your gallery or have a link substituted for your pictures in order to save the dail-up users time and frustration. Just so you know incase you come back and all your pics are replaced.

Welcome aboard, Evan. Nice Truck. Great potential. Like Tim said, B&M Exhaust in Owasso. They have been great to me and I trust them. Their prices are very fair. They have done exhaust work for my last three vehicles. They even let me watch and give input as to how I wanted my work done.

Hey Tim, watcha drive around town in Owasso? I'll give ya a wave if I see ya runnin' around town. I'm driving the bright red '78 F150 with dark tinted windows and the tailgate down.

Wow! Nice. Wouldn't be hard to see you in that! Surprised I haven't seen that around Owasso, yet. Will keep my eyes peeled.
