4x4 wheels on a 2x4 hub?
Quick question. Will the f-150 4x4 wheel fit on my 2wd? Found a set of '04 4x4 aluminum wheels that look a whole lot better than my painted steel. Thanks.

should work unless you have the HD package with the seven lug wheels. i believe there is only one 6-lug pattern for the 04's. 6x135mm.

Sure will. I have FX4 wheels on my 4x2 and they fit perfect.

I agree with 04fx4scab...those look exactly like my wheels, and I have the heavy duty package on my truck. That means a seven lug wheel. More than likely though Ford used the same blank to drill both patterns. I don't see an 8' bed on there so I'm guessing it isn't an HD. Only one way to tell..pop those lug covers off!

You guys are correct. All models of the 04 F150 use a 6x135mm rim. It doesn't matter if it's the 17" or 18". The only differenc is the xl or xlt that has the payload/plow package. These use a 7 lug due to the extra weight.
