ignition look

a real stupid question
how do I unmount the ignition without breaking it?

first, gotta have a key. insert key in tumbler and turn to acc. there is a small hole at the top of the key, use a paperclip to push in the pin in the hole. while holding in on the pin turn the key past acc and pull out. it should pop right out. then grab the switch under the dash, push it toward the dash and turn clockwise, should go about an eighth of a turn. it should all spring apart now. dont loose anything, and dont turn the tumbler back. it wont go back in if you do!

hey, Jim you caught me there, I have simultaneiously posted my question at two other forums,at yahoo and the econo garage, the later which seems to be asleep ,I never get an answerethere,
