I have a 2004 F350 crew/srw, short box, 6.0 diesel. I have just under 5000 miles and have never gotten better than 13.5 mpg. What kind of mileage can I expect on this truck. Thanks Jimk
I have the same truck with 4x4 (1300 miles on the odomoter). My 3rd tank of fuel yielded 15.06 mpg (mostly an 11 mile commute and around town jaunts). I expect it'll get better over time as the motor breaks in. 15~16mpg around town, and 17~19mpg on trips is what I expect (pretty much what I was getting on my '01). Some people get more, some get less.

Reason: spelling mistake
I just bought a f350 cc,srw,4x4,6.0 I average around 16 to 17 miles per gl. I drive 42 miles one way to work twice a week all highway (other 2 days I carpool). I usally go around 70 to 75 mph at about 2,000 rpms give or take. All I know is it gets better milage then my old 2000 GMC 1500 with a 5.3.
I have a F350 C/C, long bed, 3.73's, SRW 6.0 PSD with 11,000 and auto tranny. At 70 on the highway I get 16-18 with #2 and 13-16 with #1. I would probley get better milage if I could keep my right foot from having those darn downward impulses. Almost half of the highway driving is up/down and around the mountains. Best milage ever was driving conservative at 60-65 and easy on the pedal (20 mpg).
