Flowmasters 2 chamber or 3 anyone?

I was wondering if anyone has 3 chamber or 2 chamber flowmasters in their truck. And would like some feedback on how quiet is the 3 chamber as well as the 2 chamber. The shops tell me that 3 is really quiet in the cabin. But that maybe I could go with a 2 to get a better tone and still not notice that much noise inside the cabin. I would like some feedback before installing.

Thank You,, Mario

I have the 2 chamber, and I'm very happy with it. If you want to hear (and feel) your exhaust in the cabin, go with the 2 chamber. My friend has a three chamber, and I think its way too quiet. I do a lot of highway travel and my exhaust doesn't drone, but it is always "there" while on the freeway, but with the radio on you don't hear it.

Its your choice on how loud you want your exhaust to be. I wanted to wake up the neighbors and I went 2 chamber.

Brandon did you get the new Super 40 2 Chamber or just the 40 series 2 Chamber?
Thanks for your feedback.

I'm pretty sure its just the 40 series, not the Super 40. I got it done at a custom exhaust shop, and I just told them "40 series." They weren't too clear about the whole thing. I think the Super 40 is more performance + sound, while the 40 series is just sound.

I went dual rear with 3" tips. It looks pretty cool b/c they aren't too far out, each pipe is under the "step" part of the bumper, closer to the center than most. However this has inhibited me from getting a trailer hitch - but it sure looks good. I've been meaning to take a picture, so I'll take care of that tomorrow and post on this thread.

I hate to complicate your decision. I went with the three chamber. It sounds really good to me. The two chamber was louder than what I was looking for. I know this because a friend of mine has the two chamber and you definitely here him coming down the road. I like the low rumble. It is not over powering and is a subtle roar.

As promised, here is a pic of my tips. Sorry about the terrible quality... I'm so cool I lost my digital camera.

Thanks Brandon! Nice truck it looks really good that way but I have a trailer hitch on mine so I might not be able to go that route. I think I'll just go single on the side.

Thanks,, Mario

I ended up getting the 3 chamber single out on the side with a chrome round tip looks good. It sounded just like I wanted once I drove it out of the shop. You can really hear it when you step on it but once its cruising its nice and quiet. I decided to go this way since I do alot of highway traveling and didnt want to listen to rumbling for couple hours.
