Why is there such a high % of people who wouldn't buy one again (~11%) when all the posts here are ni favour of buying another?? Seems to me theres some Dodge and Chevy trolls around hacking up the results....

 

Lets see, my 04 SCrew, 4.6 has the following problems:
Bad brake rotors- considered normal for the pedal to pulse
Occasional A/C - considered normal to blow 80 degree air on a 95 degree day
Rear window leak- can't be reproduced in the shop
Both rear doors leak water- see above
Rear end whines- normal
Transmission growls in OD only- normal
Parking brake won't release- normal, lift it with your foot stupid
Windshield is distorted- not a warrantable item
Major loss of power- no codes found ( won't stay with a Dodge minivan)
Transmission hunts during normal driving- no codes found
Wind noise at back doors- not a warrantable item
Thumping noise under dash when starting with A/C on- Turn A/C off

This truck listed for $30,930. and the best offer I have had on this POS is $16,500 as a trade-in. The truck is 4 months old.

Would I but another 04 Ford? Would I buy another Ford? Ya gotta be kiddin'!

 

Absativialy divaly!! Best vehicle I ever owned. 7,000mi. FX4, silver(great color), black captains chairs w/ flow through console(AWSOME INTERIOR!), unbelievable ride,great looks,it's quiet and no problem to speak of thus far(knock). And I don't know about everyone else, but my 5.4 has defenitely gotten faster w/ age. I find it to have plenty of power.

 

im just wondering but why dosent the 04 F-150 have Side Currtain air bags or Stability Control like in the new Expedition.
