My drivers side mirror is very loose. It will stay in place but if i hit a bump or go over 50 the wind will knock it down. is there anyhing i can do to tighten it???

When mine had the same problem, I didn't find a way to tighten it. I ended up replacing the mirror. Found one at a junkyard for not too much; the mirror assembly on mine was the same mirror assembly used on most Ford trucks in the late 80's, so they are easy to come by.

are you taling about the large mirror or the tiny mirror if its the large one there is a hex bolt directly under the mirrir where it mounts to the arm howvere in most cases its so rusted up that it will either strip or break in which case either junk yard or you can buy a new one they are easy to replace now if your talking the small mirror then youve got me on that ive never had one so ive never tried to fix one
