Anybody compared F1 and F3 spindles

My service maual shows they are the same part. The kits for the front disk conversion all say they are for an F1. I am going to be doing the comparison but could save time if someone already knows the differnce

They are the same. I have F-1 hubs on M-3 spindles. They just say F-1 because they only come in a 5 bolt pattern.

Talking

Assuming all goes well I would trade you for some knowledge and a welding lesson. I am getting the 8.8 rearend and the spring perches and would like some help getting the rear end welded in and making sure I have the angles correct. I will supply the welder and gas.
Besides I already owe you for the transmission lesson. I put the pin in the transmisison, now the shifter does not spin in circles. When I unscrewed and removed the shifter I found allot of rust that is why I could not get the rest of the gears to work. Sprayed everything down with penetrating oil and now 3rd and 4th work. Hopefully reverse will work loose when I get her moving on her own power.
