Update Anyone?

I was just checking to see whether any progress had been made about the national meet. I understand the thread was closed down until a result was reached, but that was back in december. I guess my curiousity has gotten the best of me and I am just curious now, after all.. summer is only 4 short months away

Don't mean to be a pest.. just delete this thread if I am...

I filled out my vacation schedule today. I couldn't wait any longer. I hope I can change it when the time comes. I have 230 other people I compete with for certain weeks.

A lot of us need to make summer vacation arrangements with our employers SOON. If it's not going to happen this year, it would help if someone would let us know. I'd really like to be there, but I need to make a decision pretty quick. If one of my fellow salespeople chooses a week now for his/her vacation, and then FTE picks that same week, I won't be able to attend.

I can empathize with the organizers...deciding on a location for a national meeting is a headache, especially when so many would like to drive to it. The problem is in the geographical distribution of our population...the USA is essentially two clusters separated by 3000 miles of emptiness. Having two national meetings would make a lot of sense to alleviate this problem, but as Ken observed, it's twice the hassle for the organizers.

Oh well...I hope a decision can be made to most people's satisfaction...

There has been a slight break in the quest.
So now Ken can do something more.

It is really tough on me to watch this unfold from the sideline's & not being able to help

You could make a pre-emptive first strike and invite us all to BC for a snow-pull...

I'm afraid when we got there we would learn it was just a dirty trick, and he really just wanted us to come snow-PLOW.
