Motorcraft 5w-30 Synthetic Blend?

I have heard that the Motorcraft 5w-30 is a synthetic blend. Is this true? If so, what percentage is synthetic? It is $1.42 a quart at Wal-Mart. If this is true, this is a great deal.

If the SL was not , the SM sure is a blend of group II/III but i forget the exact amounts of either .

Cold weather performance will be a bit better too along with less oxidation during hot weather per the new 929 spec .

Now we just need to see how it really does in engines rather than paper .

Castrol is 1.89 a quart , Valvoline 1.79 now at Walmarts . If the Motorcraft price holds it's a bargain but not a cheap oil .
