Need More Lift

Hey guys, im looking for a shackle reversal/suspension drop brackets for a 76 hiboy, i have ordered the 4 inch suspension lift for the truck but i want to run 44's, how much more do you figure i need to achieve this with the 4 inch springs.

I think the Sky Maufacturing brackets are designed for the 3" wide springs so they may not work for your truck. Check their site: www.sky-maufacturing.com. If those won't do the trick you can get a set of spring hangers (front hangers from the rear springs) from another hi-boy and use them for a shackle reversal. This could gain you 4-5" of lift. I don't know if that's going to clear 44's or not. Thing to remember is when you have a tire that big you pretty much have to have the entire truck above it as you can't stuff the tire up in the wheel well any longer. Look at the gallery for Proeliator. He has a 73 F250 and was running 44's . . . 14" of lift. He might be able to get away with 12 but I doubt it would work with less than that.
