Seems like with all the excitement over short bed trucks and suspension improvements, it's likely that some Rod Builder in my neck of the woods has loosed a cab from their old long bed chassis to soup up a more modern short version of their '55. Well I'm the man to give that old chassis wasting away in your back yard another life under a nice intact 55 desert cab and long bed. Phoenix would be too good to be true since I'm a short hop away in Tucson, but So. Cal or NM should work as well. We ought to be able to work out some mutually benificial arangement. While I'm waiting on a miracle, I'll keep an eye peeled on E-bay. Thx. you'all, Keep on truckin. David
