What is the longest production Ford truck?
Ford truck trivia. #1 what Ford truck was produced longer than any other model? #2 what was the first and last year of production? When I say what truck was produced longest, I mean what particular cab style. We all know that the F series has been in production since 1948, but I am looking for a cab style that was produced from the same mold or stamping. For example The fat fendered Ford's were produced from 1953 to 1956. What series of trucks had the longest production run?

I am not going to give up the answer just yet. If no one has the answer by Monday night, I will post the answer. I am sure that someone will figure it out soon.

I think 80-96 all had the same cab and body style just had different front ends. That would make 16 years.

Good answer, and grated 16 years is a longtime, but it is not the correct answer.

Michelle,
How about the tilt cab over, I think it was called a "C" series. I think it started in the late 50's went into the 90's?

Do the vans count? They had quite a run going on those for a while. From the 70's up to the early 90's.
