I have been using such pads, on my bed, in the house, and now in the trailer, for over a year. The difference is amazing - my joints thank me, my back thanks me, and it feels 'nice' to just lay in bed. My house bed mattress is a Sealy PosturePedic, pillow top, so it is a good mattress anyway, but with the tempsoma pad on top, it is turned into pure comfort. The trailer mattress is a cheap thing, like most RV ones, that cripples me without the pad.. With it, I get as good a nights sleep as I do in the house.

We got one from Costco about six months ago it's the best purchase we've ever made. use to wake up with my hip locked up but not any more. the pad is like a glove for whole body.

I have a select comfort bed and it have the foam. I love the bed, because it is the best sleep that I have had in ten years. Sleep completely through the night and do not roll nearly as much. The only downside to foam is that it is a great insulator and if you are like me and exude a lot of body heat then you will transfer a lot of the heat back to you.

I don't have that one, but I got a (used) Tempurpedic (sp?) from an estate auction a while back for almost nothing(supposedly from a guest bedroom). The first night I slept in it was also the first time I've woken up in the exact position in which I fell asleep. I don't know if it's just the foam, but it sure made a world of difference.

I've heard they don't do as much good for "heavier" people. I didn't even realize my old mattress was hurting me until the switch. I also seam to need less sleep and wake-up feeling ready to start my day. Some people don't like them though. Try it and see. like alfalma said, you can always take it back.

It will b a great discussion,.
Actually I also experiencing a night as if I was not comfortable to sleep with.
I'd wake up with pain in my lower back. That was until I got my memory foam mattress topper and all my pressure points were supported. Pressure points are areas of your body that press the hardest into your bed. If you like to sleep on your back like me, your lower back bears most of the weight of your body. With the memory foam mattress topper your body weight is evenly distributed. This allows you to get a restful night sleep without aches, pains, numbness or poor circulation.

The best sleep I ever had was on a waterbed with a waveless mattress. My ex-wife still has the thing after 20 some odd years.

I'm beginning to think that as I age, there is no such thing as a good night's sleep. Seems bodily functions won't allow it!

My gf bought one from Costco when they where on sale and I thought it was a waste of money but now when I sleep at my place I can tell the difference and my mattress is newer and better than hers it did make a huge difference. THe other thing you might want to think about doing is putting a piece of 1/2 plywood between your mattress and box spring if you mattress is old or you want a firmer surface.
